Old Fashioned Eggnog
Ingredients:
6 eggs
½ cup sugar
1-pint heavy whipping cream
6 Tablespoons 100 proof bourbon or ½ cup 86 proof bourbon
salt
Directions:
Separate eggs; beat yolks until thickened. Add ½ cup sugar gradually, beat until smooth. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Whip cream until stiff; gradually add bourbon and a dash of salt. Gently fold over egg whites, yolks, and cream together. Chill.
Serves 12.
