Happy Independence Day 2024!

June 28th-July 4th - White Squirrel Festival

     Beginning on Friday with a Downtown Open House and Mural Dedication at 5pm, along with Food, Music, and Activities for the entire family, the festival continues on Saturday with an Arts & Crafts Market, food vendors, a Car-Truck-Bike-and-Tractor Show, and a family scavenger hunt. On Sunday, there is a Community Worship Service and on Monday, Military and First Responders will be recognized.  On Tuesday, it’s Bingo Night and Thursday will feature a 5k Run, the Festival Parade, a Cornhole Tournament, and finish the day with FIREWORKS at 9PM.  For more information check their facebook page - White Squirrel Festival, Kenton Tenn.

June 29th - Trimble Independence Day Celebration

      The Town of Trimble Annual Independence Day Celebration will be held on June 29 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The parade will begin at 6:00 pm, and there will be food vendors, corn hole, and a train ride for the kids!


June 30th - Faith & Freedom Fireworks Show 

     Hosted at First Baptist Church in Covington, Tennessee, the Faith & Freedom Fireworks Show will begin at 7:00 pm and features local food vendors.

June 30th - Let Freedom Ring

     The annual Let Freedom Ring celebration will take place in Savannah, Tennessee, hosted by Riverview Baptist Church. This year’s special concert will be downtown at the Savannah Market - celebrating our freedom and our country.  There will also be a special time of honor for our military and our veterans!  (Bring a lawn chair.)


July 1 - Eastview Baptist Annual Fireworks Show

     This free community event begins at 8:30 pm at Eastview Baptist Church in Huntingdon, Tennessee! There will be free food, fun, and fireworks so don't miss it!


July 2 - Flag City Freedom Celebration 

     Celebrate the spirit of community and the thrill of fireworks at the City of Millington Parks and Recreation Department's annual fireworks display on July 2, 2024. Gates open at 6 PM, with fireworks beginning at sundown. Parking will be $5 per vehicle. Enjoy an evening filled with music by Sherry Oke, food and beverage concessions (available for purchase), and a kid zone with inflatables. 

July 2 - Milan City Park - 6pm - 9:30pm

July 3 - Celebrate Independence 

     Celebrate Munford and the City of Munford host their annual fireworks show! Gathering begins around 8:30 pm, and fireworks commence at dark.

July 3,4,5 & 6th 2024:

3rd Annual Red, White, & BOOM! At the Birdsong Resort in Benton County

     Celebrate with a Pirate-themed 4-day Benton County Weekend Destination,  an event-packed 4th of July extravaganza! JULY 4th

Festival of the Lakes 

     Held on Beech Lake in Henderson County, the Festival of the Lakes features  water races, Beech Baby and Miss Festival of the Lakes Pageants, live entertainment, delicious food, BBQ hot on the grill and an extravagant fireworks display that brings 20,000 people to the banks of Beech Lake!


Firefighters Freedom Festival

     Held at the McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport near Jackson, Tennessee, the Firefighters Freedom Festival is the 11th Annual Madison County Celebration! Gates open at 4pm and fireworks commence at dark. 


Route 45 Freedom Festival 

     McNairy County hosts the Route 45 Freedom Festival and Car Show on July 4th, 2024 at Selmer City Park! The event will feature a car show, food trucks, live entertainment, and a fireworks display (which begins at dark). 

Obion County Fair Food Truck Festival 

     The Food Truck Festival will take place on the Obion County Fairgrounds from 4:00 pm -10:00 pm, and the Fireworks will be at 9:00 pm. In addition to the fireworks and food trucks, the festival will feature live entertainment and activities for kids!

City of Medina 

     The annual City of Medina Fireworks show will be held Thursday, July 4th at Medina Community Park at dusk. 

Paris Landing Fireworks Display

      There will be a fireworks display held at Paris Landing State Park on July 4th, 2024. The time is currently being determined, so check out their Facebook Page for up-to-date information!

Freedom Fest

     The Freedom Festival is held at 6 pm on July 4th at the recreational park on Como Road in McKenzie, Tennessee. As you stroll or ride into the park the scrumptious smell of the food vendors beckons you over. The crowd relaxes in their lawn chairs or on quilts as they visit with friends and enjoy entertainment before the spectacular fireworks show under the stars!

Dyer Station Celebration

     A firework show will be held on July 4 at 9 pm at Dyer Park as part of the annual Dyer Station Celebration.

City of Martin - Martin Loves America Fireworks Show

     Join the City of Martin as we celebrate the 4th of July with the BIGGEST BANG in Northwest Tennessee at our Martin Loves America, FREE Fireworks Show .

Located at the Martin Rec Complex 8457 Highway 45E South, fireworks will begin at 9:00PM. Bring a picnic, chairs, and refreshments for the whole family and relax in the grass or watch and listen from your vehicle. We love Martin so make sure to post and share pictures using #MartinTN and #MartinLovesAmerica throughout the night!

     The Martin Rec Complex also offers a walking trail, pond for fishing, play grounds, and a fenced in dog park. Make plans to bring the whole family & enjoy your 4th of July holiday with us! 


Union City's BEST Fireworks Display!

     Come on out to Graham Park on Sunday, July 4th for one of the Best Fireworks Displays in West Tennessee!  Fireworks begin promptly at 9:00pm.  No Admission Charge - JUST ENJOY!

Pickwick Lake - (See Hardin County Article pg82)

     Huge fireworks show on July 4th at Pickwick Landing State Park!  Food and craft vendors will be set up all day, and ranger-led activities will be available for kids and adults

Saltillo Landing - 

     Fireworks over the Tennessee River at its finest!  The Perfect viewing spot on the banks of the river - or in a boat.  Secure your spot early, the show begins at 9:00


July 5th - Reelfoot Lake Fireworks Show

     Reelfoot Lake Tourism Council will present fireworks and entertainment on Friday, July 5. Live music will kick off at 7 p.m. with a fireworks show following at 9 p.m.

     46th Annual Wayne Jerrolds Savannah Bluegrass Festival  - This is the second longest running Bluegrass Festival in the State of Tennessee and surrounding states. It is a family friendly event, showcasing the beautiful Tennessee River & picturesque City of Savannah.

     The festival will host music on Friday, July 5th and Saturday, July 6th.  Beginning at 5pm on Friday with David Davis and The Warrior River Boys headlining Friday night at Wayne Jerrolds River Park. Music starts at 11am on Saturday with Wayne himself, The Bankshafts, Billy Droze with Gary Nichols and Kentucky Blue, and Festival Favorite Rhonda Vincent, The “Queen of Bluegrass”, ending the night at The Savannah Market.


July 6th - 4th Annual 4th of July Celebration 

     The Annual Fourth of July Celebration in Dresden, Tennessee, will take place starting at 5:30 pm, complete with food, fun, and festivities!

      The 40th Annual Lauderdale County Tomato Festival is set for July 12th & 13th, from 10am-10pm with most events at the Ripley City Park
