Asparagus Flats 



Ingredients:

Croissant dough sheet

Fresh asparagus (2 bunches)

1 8oz package cream cheese, softened

Garlic Powder (to taste)

Garlic Salt

Minced Onion Flakes (to taste)

Bacon bits

Olive oil



Directions:

Spread dough on a baking sheet 

Trim asparagus ends off - about 2-3 inches from the bottom - to get to the tender part of the asparagus.

Mix softened cream cheese, a dash of garlic powder, and onion flakes together in a small bowl. You can put your cream cheese into the microwave for about 30 seconds to aid with mixing. Then spread over the dough sheet. Place asparagus spears onto a sheet in a line, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic salt.



Bake at 350° for about 15-20 minutes or until dough sheet edges are golden brown. As fast as these go, you might want to double this recipe!
