Miss West Tennessee Cotton Festival Pageant

On August 3rd, 2019, the West Tennessee Cotton Festival, a 32-year tradition in the small town of Crockett Mills, held it’s Miss West Tennessee Cotton Festival Pageant. This pageant is a precursor to the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival Pageant, and the stakes were high.

With 8 age groups, the pageant began at 10 am and lasted until 2:45 pm. Beginning with the Wee Miss, ages 0-23 months, the girls were beautiful in their best dresses. Miss Lennox Hillard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen (Jada) Hilliard won Wee Miss Queen. The 1st runner up is Miss Nora Kate Kelly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lucas (Cory) Kelly and the 2nd runner up is Miss Landry Mae Mckenzie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt (Hilary) McKenzie. The 3rd runner up is Miss Reagan Hobock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam (Amanda) Hobock. Miss Congeniality is Miss Dayanna Gurrero, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Catracho (Crystal) Gurrero.

For the Baby Miss age group, the Baby Miss Queen and Miss Congeniality is Miss Kinsley Kowsky, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Justin (Misty) Kowsky. The 1st runner up is Miss Mia Claire Hatch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Riley (Sarah) Hatch.

The Tiny Miss Queen is Miss Teagan Ann Morris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton (Emily) Morris. The 1st runner up is Miss Ellie Jo Everett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim (Brandi) Everett, and the 2nd runner up is Miss Annaston Matlock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Josh (Hannah) Matlock. The 3rd runner up was a tie between Miss Lexie Joe Tapp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Josh (Kara) Tapp, and Miss Harleigh Dans, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scotty (Michelle) Dans. Miss Congeniality is Miss Collins Carrington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt (Allison) Carrington.

The Petite Miss Queen is Miss Avery Dawn Emison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. RS (April) Emison. She was also awarded Miss Congeniality. The 1st runner up is Miss Paisley Kimbrell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Kayla) Kimbrell. She was also awarded Miss Congeniality. The 2nd runner up is Miss Amelia Kate Honge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick (Kim) Honge.

The Little Miss Queen is Miss Collins Carter Prince, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tyler (Jodie) Prince. The 1st runner up is Miss Sawyer Kate Morris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Josh (Taryn) Morris, and the 2nd runner up is Miss Lynnleigh Cooper, daughter of Mr. Clay Pierce and Ms. Jessie Cooper. The 3rd runner up is Miss Elizabeth Bond, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bate (Kaney) Bond. Miss Congeniality is Miss McKynna Spence, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chad (Tracy) Spence.

The Junior Miss Queen is Miss Cacie Jo McNeill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chad (Taffee) McNeill. The 1st runner up is Miss Stella Higdon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Josh (Jana) Higdon, and the 2nd runner up is Miss Addison Claire Mitchell, daughter of Mr. Jonny Mitchell and Ms. Samantha Earlst. The 3rd runner up is Miss Eleanor Catherine Haynes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loren (Shannon) Haynes. Miss Congeniality is Miss Madelyn (Maddie) Kate Moore.

The Teen Miss Queen is Miss Ada Johnson, daughter of Mr. Ricky Johnson and Ms. Cindy Porter. The 1st runner up is Miss Brooklyn Polinski, daughter of Mr. Tommy Polinski and Ms. Jessica Estes. The 2nd runner up is Miss Sydney Fincher, daughter of Jason (Daneita) Fincher, and the 3rd runner up is Miss Rebecca Butler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Laura) Butler. Miss Congeniality is Miss Rachel Luckey.

Miss Cotton Festival 2019 is Queen Haley Beth Hill. The 1st runner up is Miss Ellie Epperson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lance (Jenny) Epperson. The 2nd runner up is Miss Macey Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky (Rebecah) Jones. The 3rd runner up was a tie between Miss Sydney Pate, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy (Gina) Pate, and Miss Molly Parlow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boone (Cindy) Parlowe. Miss Congeniality is Miss Hannah Reeves, daughter of Mr. Kevin Reeves and Ms. Natalie Tegetholf.
