Paige’s Chocolate Trifle
Ingredients:
1 package fudge brownie mix
½ cup Kahlua or other coffee flavored liqueur(optional)
3 packages chocolate instant pudding mix
1 container frozen whipped topping
7 english toffee-flavored candy bars, crushed
Directions:
Prepare and bake brownie mix according to package directions in a 9x13-inch pan. While that is baking, prepare the pudding mix with only 4 cups of milk instead of 6 and set aside. Prick top of warm brownies at 1-inch intervals and brush with Kahlua. Cool Brownies and crumble into small pieces. Place ⅓ of crumbled brownies in a trifle bowl. Top with ⅓ each of pudding, whipped topping, and crushed candy bars. Repeat twice using remaining ingredients and topping it off with the crushed candy bars. Cover and chill for 8 hours. Yields 16 servings.
