International Women's Day

Today is the day the world celebrates the beauty, the grace, the elegance, the strength, the vigor, the fervor, the fun, the resilience that is the woman. 

March has been set aside as Women's History Month with a special emphasis on March 8th being set aside as International Women's Day. The United Nations began celebrating International Women's Day in the International Women's Year, 1975.

This years theme for International Women's Day is #PressforProgress. The unique thing about International Women's Day is that its not specific to a country, group or to one organization. This day belongs to all groups collectively everywhere, to all women...to all who truly believe that women are worthy of celebration.
