Keep Moving
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
As we come to the close of another #MLKDay, let us always remember to keep moving forward. Moving forward to what you ask? Well to answer that, we must look at the life that Dr. King dreamed about. A life not just fit for his children and not just for African-Americans, but for all Americans. Dr. King dreamed about a life free of cultural biases; free of racial divide; free of religious oppression; free of all things that deepen the schism of hate and injustice.
As we move into commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of Dr. King’s assassination this year, let not his death be in vain. Let us forever be on the side of liberty and justice for all people...one nation...a unified body...a diverse and beautiful family. Let us continue to strive to the promiseland that Dr. King saw.
Happy Birthday Dr. King. Thank you for being our king. #MLKing
