Cinnamon Apples

Ingredients

4-6 apples, cored

2 cups of water

½ cup red hots

¼ cup sugar

Instructions

Combine water, red hots, sugar and cook over medium heat until sugar and candy dissolve.  Slice apples in ½ inch rings; add to syrup. Simmer gently until transparent but not soft.  Turn Occasionally. Cool in syrup.
