White Christmas Cut-Out Cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup butter

1 egg

1 teaspoon soda

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 ½ cups sugar

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 cups flour

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar together.  Add egg and vanilla. Dissolve soda in sour cream.  Add sour cream and flour mixed with baking powder alternately and mix thoroughly.  Chill. Roll out using as little flour as possible. Cut into desired shapes. Bake in a moderate oven at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until very light tan.  Frost with powdered sugar icing
