DeLaney Timberman, Miss Tipton County 2018 has raised over $18,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in Tennessee, has attended over 40 events statewide, and finished in the Top Ten at Miss Tennessee 2018 in Jackson, TN! And she didn’t stop there. DeLaney has collected wish list items for all 5 Ronald McDonald Houses, as well as donated monetarily and through wish list items to all 5 CMN hospitals. One can understand how she has received over $11,000 in scholarship money to further her education. “It has been such an incredible journey competing for the title of Miss Tennessee for the last three years, and I have been so fortunate to serve as Miss Mid South 2017 and Miss Tipton County 2018 in our community! Not only have I received over $11,000 in scholarship to further my education, I also have been welcomed with open arms to my second home in Tipton County! There truly has been no greater blessing than speaking to so many school children, attending our local events, and visiting with each person who makes this community the special place it is!!"

Amber Reed - Miss Mid South 2018

Amber Reed, Mis Mid South 2018 has raised over $15,000 for Children’s Miracle Network and $10,000 for the Boys and Girls Club and has attended over 50 events local and statewide! Amber had the opportunity to be the first Musician on call at LeBonheur, advocated for the Boys and Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region at Day on the Hill, has met with the speaker of the House and the Governor, and finished 3rd runner-up at Miss Tennessee 2018. Finishing 3rd runner-up at Miss Tennessee 2018, Amber received the Miracle Maker Award, was named the MAO Community Service Award Winner and was the preliminary swimsuit winner at Miss Tennessee. “There are very few organizations that can provide you with the opportunities and life experiences like the Miss Tipton County / Miss Mid South Organization does! They are phenomenal women that have empowered me to be confident in who I am. I was able to connect on a larger scale with my platform, Boys and Girls Club, and advocate and fundraise for them on a state level. I even received $18,000 in scholarship money from my participation in the Miss America Organization which has helped tremendously! It has been an incredible year serving my community alongside some amazing people!"

This year's pageant will be held this Saturday, August 18th at 6:00 p.m. at the Tipton Rosemark Academy Performing Arts Center. Admission is $10. Don’t miss it!
