‘Tis the season for our favorite holiday movies! Why spend money, fight the crowds, and struggle to find the perfect seat at the theatre when you can enjoy timeless classics at home? Here we’ve compiled 10 Must Watch Christmas Movies. We tried to put them in order but we couldn’t do it without inciting an office riot.
1. Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town - 1970
A classic Christmas movie with a nice plot is always perfect for a nice day inside with a nice warm drink. Just chill and enjoy a nice classic.
2. Elf
Elf is a hilarious movie that the whole family can enjoy together. Buddy and his “elfish” ways will have you in tears laughing. So relax with family or friends and have the “world’s best cup of coffee!”
3. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
Christmas vacation is always either perfect or it is a complete disaster, or in this case, a mixture of both. This movie is one for the books and it is a must watch!
4. Home Alone
This classic is a friendly reminder to always be aware of your family. It is a great family movie to watch and get together for. It’ll probably scare the kids a little, considering what actually occurs in the movie. This one is definitely a must watch; especially if you plan a Christmas vacation.
5. Polar Express
The Polar Express is a great pick that really makes you get into the Christmas spirit. It is an especially good pick to watch with younger children if you really want to teach them the true meaning of Christmas.
6. Nightmare Before Christmas
The Nightmare Before Christmas is a great twist to your normal Christmas movie. Bringing Halloween into the mix, it is the perfect movie to watch while transitioning between the holidays. It also teaches children and adults to not mix holidays together.
7. The Grinch - 2000
Make sure all the doors are locked because the Grinch is out to get anything that is Christmas related. If you have a Grinch in the family, this is the perfect movie for them to watch. It may just make their heart grow.

A classic Christmas movie because it just wouldn’t be a holiday without Charlie Brown. As always it is filled with laughs, joy, and a gloomy Charlie Brown. It’s quite the movie if you want to brighten the season for a few gloomy people in your own home.

There are many versions of this movie to choose from to watch with your neighborhood scrooge. The Walt Disney creation will keep the kids' attention with its vibrant animation, while older versions may be more for the adults.
10. The Santa Clause
A great movie to kick things off with some holiday spirit and some laughs. Tim Allen never fails to entertain us, especially with his Santa Clause movies. Great kids’ movies for the entire family.
